In this article we are going to take a quick look at the most interesting official Master’s Degrees in Translation that are open for the next academic year in Spain, 2021-22, and analyse the pros and cons of each one.
For some years now, taking a master’s degree has been practically an essential academic requirement after completing a Bachelor’s Degree. But with the advent of the pandemic, the trend towards online training has multiplied and the offer has changed dramatically. In the space of just one year, several renowned masters have been discontinued and others have been cancelled altogether… So, here is our list of the most interesting official Master’s Degrees in Translation that are open for the 2021-22 Spanish academic year.
1. Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Translation and Localisation (TRAVLOC) at UCM-UAM
It starts in September 2021, you can choose whether it is full-time or part-time, and it is on campus at the UCM.

Available in multiple languages (Spanish, English, French and German), starts in September 2021, online, full-time

3. Master’s Degree in Specialised Translation at the University of Vic
This is a interuniversity degree coordinated by the University of Vic/Central University of Catalonia in which the University San Jorge (Zaragoza) participates. It is part-time, online and bilingual English-Spanish.
